In this painting I decided to use the Acrylic medium and began by making random marks with different colours. The sun was very strong at times peeping here and there from behind a few clouds. Greenish blue and yellow colours seemed predominant.
The sky had appeared quite heavy at times and there seemed many different cloud patterns; many long and striking shadows appeared to come and go over the river. I tried to capture this.

“This painting was painted roughly an hour before dusk ; the boat shown was just turning to show full stern, interesting shades of colour, which I tried to capture.”
